There was a time when the entire city fit between Deira and Bur Dubai, your social life revolved around chai stalls instead of mega malls, and the souks were places you shopped, not places you photographed for Instagram.

That Dubai is gone. But the people who remember it? They are still here. And they still light up every time someone says "do you remember when..."
